On the occasion of the opening of the exhibition “Globe Sauter × Pequignet” at the Pequignet boutique in Paris, the two manufactures present a limited series of watches and terrestrial globes, the result of a collaborative effort between a geographer, a watchmaker, a painter, and an artisan.

Globe Sauter & Cie is the last remaining manufacturer of terrestrial globes in France. Each globe is handcrafted and hand-painted in Besançon, in keeping with an ancestral savoir-faire inherited from the 16th-century tradition.

Each dial is a map of a corner of the world, its outlines printed in carbon black on 100% cotton paper from Zuber-Rieder paper mill (Boussières, 10 km from Besançon), then hand-painted in watercolour.

Korea Strait: south of the peninsula, the Korea Strait symbolizes the passage toward Japan. It also carries with it the entire imaginary of exoticism and the spice route, from a time when sea travel followed the African coast to reach India. In a way, it was the end of the road.

Instead of hours, the markers indicate degrees of longitude:

90° (east) at 3 o’clock
180° (south) at 6 o’clock
270° (west) at 9 o’clock
a compass arrow, echoing the Manufacture Pequignet’s signature orange, at 12 o’clock – a reminder that the watch can be used as a compass.

This limited series consists  in 24 unique pieces, all drawn and hand-painted by Alain Sauter.

The Attitude watch is operated by Calibre Initial®, the third movement designed by the Manufacture Pequignet. It has a patented instant date jump and winding system. Much work has been done on the finish, such as its superb perforated oscillating weight visible in relief on the back of the watch. This exclusive calibre combines technicality, accuracy and reliability. Its advantages: its Calibre Initial® designed and manufactured in France and its 65 hour power reserve (weekend "proofed").

They KNOW that latex smell and they are hard when you first get them!
My dogs love these! I just noticed I bought them 18 TIMES! 😧 I know it's the laytex smell and they try so hard to get that squeaker out! I'd yell "new toys" and throw 3 in different directions! I know they are expensive but my dogs and I have SO much fun 😊🐾🐾

Our German Sheppard loves these
Size: Medium
These cost a bit more than tennis balls, but they are so much nicer and longer lasting. For starters, they stay cleaner than tennis balls because they’re smooth rubber. Dirt won’t build up on them and if anything does stick, like grass or soil, it falls off once the dog slobber dries. They’re also thick, so they don’t fall apart or blow out like a normal tennis ball does in our dog’s jaws after 30 seconds. Our GS chomps on these like crazy and the only damage they’ve suffered is a crack that developed from the edge of the hole, but the crack is growing very slowly and none of these balls have totally failed yet. The balls do whistle when thrown ant high speed and that may help a dog track and locate it, but I’m not sure. Our neighbors hear the whistling too so it’s far from silent. Lastly the orange ball is easy to locate out in our yard, but the dark blue practically disappears.

Great for smaller dogs
Size: Small
These two balls are perfect for the smaller mouthed dog that loves to play fetch. These balls are not only super durable (lots of teeth biting), but float in the baby pool we use for our miniature dachshunds. The value here is much better than you’d find anywhere else. The noise, if bitten hard enough, was “low” at best. Easy to spot/find if overthrown. Will definitely buy again once these are in bad repair; so far, so good-love these for my fur babies!
